Launch your scenario

Open the Learning Experience tab to see the scenarios your instructor has assigned to you.

Open the Learning Experience tab

Sign in to OnScreen, then select the Learning Experience tab to see your assigned scenarios. Find the one you want and select Learner to launch it.

When the scenario loads, your learner brief appears. It covers your clinical role, the patient background, and your learning objectives. Read it before you begin.

Work through the learning experience

Assess and treat your patient using the panels on the right of your screen. The checklist tracks the tasks required for this learning experience.

Open the Assessments, Actions, and EMR menus to examine and treat your patient. The checklist at the top left shows the tasks you still need to complete. To speak to a character, press and hold T.

Tip

The Live monitor at the top right shows the patient's vitals as they change. Keep an eye on it while you work.

Complete your clinical documentation

Chart your notes to close the loop on your clinical reasoning. You have two options.

Option 1: chart inside the scenario

Open the Assessment menu on the right and select EMR. Click View to open the EMR tablet, go to the Charting section, and complete your SOAP or SBAR documentation without leaving the scenario.

Option 2: chart after the session

After you end your session, open your email and select Complete Charting Now. You go to the Lumeto Web Portal. Scroll to the Charting section and complete your Subjective, Objective, Assessment, and Plan notes.

Charting supports your clinical reasoning and makes sure your learning experience is captured in full.

Finish and review your performance

When you have completed the required tasks, end the session and check your first results.

Press End Session

When you are ready, press the End Session button. The scenario shows a closing message and your f irst performance feedback on screen, including the safe practices you followed and any unsafe practices you avoided or missed.

You also receive an email with a summary of your session. Select View Session Report to open the Web Portal and see your full results, scores, and instructor comments.

Open your debrief and assessment report

Your session report holds the full picture of how the session went. Select View Session Report in your email, or open it from the Web Portal.

Read your full report

The report opens in the Lumeto Web Portal, where you can go through your score, your safe and unsafe practices, and the detail behind each one.

In your report you can
  • Review your overall score
  • See your safe and unsafe practices
  • Read your AI-powered assessment feedback
  • Open the event log
  • Read the full conversation transcript

Use your report to spot your strengths, close any gaps, and prepare for your next session.

Access your full history

You can return to healthcare.portal.lumeto.com any time to see the sessions you have run.

Open the Sessions tab

Select the Sessions tab to see your past sessions and track your progress over time. Open any session to see your score, your safe and unsafe practices, your transcript, and more.

The Learner Performance chart plots your scores across recent sessions, so you can see how you are progressing.
